Today we attended the funeral services for Emily Bennefeld who died unexpectedly on July 11. Emily worked in our clubs for over 20 years, all her time was spent in the pro shop. When I started with the company we leased out the space and Emily worked for the family that ran it in Pleasanton and San Ramon. At some point we took over the pro shops and Emily came to work for us. Emily went back and fourth between Pleasanton and Fremont for a short while and then settled permanently in Fremont. She was an important part of the Fremont family and she will be missed greatly.
Emily was 76 years old when she passed and she was still taking care of her 93 year old mother. Our prayers and good thoughts go out to Emily and her family.
