Laurie Smith, Program Director of Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo,recently competed in the NPC Team Universe Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Championships & NPC Met-Rx National Fitness Championships, where she took 2nd place in the Women’s Bodybuilding Lightweight Class.
Laurie told me the woman who took 1st place in her class was the Overall Winner and won her Pro-Card. So, she was one placing shy of turning professional! What’s cool about this show is that it’s the only drug-tested Nationals, which means everyone is clean. Congratulations to Laurie on this incredible accomplishment and most importantly congratulations on the hard work, dedication, and discipline to a stated goal.
