Summer Vacation

Scott Campbell, the Wellness Director at ClubSport Oregon, sent me these pictures of his summer vacation. Every year he goes to Africa and volunteers his time, he actually has his own charity there. This year he brought along some retired basketballs for the kids to play with - they were thrilled. Scott said they had never actually played basketball with real balls before so it was quite a new experience. One hoop was hanging by a single bolt so the kids were shooting vertically on one side of the court. Next year he hopes to bring down some retired hoops and nets for the kids. Scott and his wife have been doing this for years, although with little kids his wife was not able to go with him this year. Scott told me he is looking forward to when his kids are older and they can experience the joy of helping out as a family.
