Fitbit Demo

For the last week or so I have been testing this little device called Fitbit. The easiest explanation, its an electronic pedometer for the 21st century. I wear the light weight clip on my pants and it logs my steps. When I sit at my desk it wirelessly downloads the information to a web site where my information is displayed - calories burned, steps taken etc. Here is where it gets cooler, on the website there is an opportunity to log your food throughout the day and it graphically shows you calories in versus calories out. I tested the food log for four days and it's pretty easy.
I think this could be a great tool for helping our members lose weight. Your part: I would like to try this out with two associates who want to lose weight. I will buy you the unit and it's yours to keep. You agree to use the unit for 30 days, grant me access to your account so I can monitor your progress and support you along the way. There is no personal information on the site - aside from weight - I know that can be very personal for some people.
Please really think about this before you jump in, 30 days is a commitment. Tell other associates you feel may be interested in this opportunity. E mail me directly why you think you are right to pilot this and I will select two people. You can go to the website at www.fitbit.com to get more information.
