Fremont Manager of the Year

Congratulations to Mark Carter who was named Manager of the Year for ClubSport Fremont. Mark is the Aquatics Director who runs a killer year around program in Fremont. Aside from running the lesson and swim team programs Mark also takes selected swimmers to open water swim competitions and regional swim meets. He took a group of kids to race from Alcatraz Island to San Francisco - without wet suits. Mark did not stay on the boat while the kids swam, he swam right along with them, actually in front of them. That is hard core.
Mark's Aquatics department was the most profitable of all the Fremont profit centers last year and the second highest netting in the company. With increased area competition and a challenging economy, Mark actually grew the year over year revenue in Aquatics and increased his net income over 2008 by 11%. Mark is dedicated and committed to success and CS Fremont is lucky to have him.
I want to personally congratulate Mark on his achievement. I enjoy picking Mark's brain whenever I can about my swim stroke, he is always generous with a tip or suggestion. Kudos Mark.
