Bill Jorgenson National Champion

This is Bill Jorgenson. He is the Head Engineer at ClubSport Pleasanton, and has been for the last 26 years. I had the pleasure of working with Bill for about 12 of those years through quite a few remodels and hundreds of projects. Bill is a very talented engineer, he can virtually fix anything, and he is a heck of a good guy.
Bill is also talented in another facet of his life. He recently competed in the National Senior Games in St George, Utah and took home two gold medals in bow shooting. One in the 3-D target category, and the other is the old fashioned round targets with a bulls eye. The 3-D target is a Styrofoam life sized animal they shoot at. Bill qualified to go to the Senior Olympics next summer in Texas but doesn't think he will go because Heather won't let him off work (jk). This is the second time Bill has qualified to go to the Senior Olympics.
Bill has been bow hunting and competitively shooting for many years, and it's an activity he enjoys with his wife Carol. She also won two gold medals at the same competition. You could say the Jorgenson's are much more likely to hunt than to gather.
Bill will be retiring from the Club mid year 2011, but that's another blog entry.

Thank you for all the nice feedback on my workout reflections entry. I got quite a few responses that I have permission to reprint so keep an eye out for that. If you would like to be included I would still like to hear what you have to say.

We have about 65 TEAM ClubSport runners taking part in the Healdsburg Half Marathon Saturday. That's in norcal wine country. Good luck to all our runners, hopefully it stays dry.
