Thanks For Sharing

Here are a few additional items people sent me in response to my last post that I thought were Blog worthy, but first a correction. Iliana is running the Camarillo Marathon on October 3. Iliana will be running the same streets that she grew up on and she will have some nice family support to cheer her on.

Additional people running the ClubSport 1/2 Marathon, AKA Healdsburg 1/2 Marathon, are Angelina Vega, RoseAnne Renzullo (CSP Nutrition Coach), Sandie Hernbroth, and Thomas Avellone. Cool story about Thomas, he did Sandie's 10K prep class last June and is now preparing for his first half marathon. Good luck Thomas.

Elaine McIntee and Sandie Hernbroth, and about 10 members are doing the Chicago Marathon September 30. A good chunk of this group went to New Orleans with Sandie to do a half marathon last year.
Kevin Cabral didn't write this one in but I know he did the Waves to Wine two day bike ride back in June. It's about 170 miles over two days. This is the second year in a row Kevin has done this ride. To train Kev gets out on his bike 3-4 days during the week at 6am to get a ride in before he reports to RCSWC for work. That takes discipline to get out there in the dark and the cold by yourself.
Laura Bartron and Susan Volkamer are putting on a Wellness Retreat at WC on the weekend of October 9 and 10. They have two full days of seminars, spa treatments, a cooking demo, and exercise classes. The one session that looks particularly intriguing is the "PJ Relaxation Meditation" session Saturday night. One's mind could wonder in all sorts of directions with that one. If you have any questions about space for associates you can e mail either Susan or Laura.
Sandi Hanscom is getting ready for a body building competition, she will be competing in the bikini division. I don't have the date but I know it's coming up in the next couple weeks.
Every year Dale Miller, Regional Tennis Director, does whatever you do to make this happen to a pumpkin. Clearly it takes a lot of for thought and planning, and the members love it. This bad boy is now on display at CS Valley Vista in the Gallery. Verve is a Santa Cruz based coffee roasting company retailer specializing in high end coffee beans. They ship their beans all over the world and their baristos have been competed and won at the national level. I am not telling you about it just because I got this cool mug, John O'Donovan, FRE General Manager, owns the company. You can find Verve beans at Whole Foods as well. Buying Verve Coffee not only are you buying local, supporting small business, you are also supporting a member of the CS family.
