Heather Stanek, ClubSport Pleasnton GM, announced yesterday that Frank Villar, Membership Director was named Manager of the year at that property. Frank has lead his team to a strong membership gain during a year when selling memberships was more challenging than ever. Frank is known as the "stat guy" because he is very good about knowing his numbers and using his historical data to strategize. He understands the importance of developing his team and taking care of his players. Frank was a Membership Rep for many years before becoming the director about 5 years ago, so he knows first hand the challenges his team faces.
Frank is a huge 49er fan and he just this year has taken up road biking. I am not sure about his position on long walks on the beach. Thank you for a great year Frank, nice work.
