FIT QUEST UPDATE In case you don't know Fit Quest is this quarter's fitness incentive. Its purpose is to have an interesting and physically challenging program that members will enjoy while advancing their fitness levels. Right now everyone is doing their pre-test to establish a base line of fitness, the tests vary slightly each property but it goes like this: For 20 minutes you move through a circuit of 15 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 jumps, 20 lunges, 5 burpees, and 10 sit-ups. The tester counts the rounds the participant makes it through. Workout for 5 weeks, preferably with a trainer, and do the post test to see how your fitness level has improved.
A couple shout outs; AV already tested 104 members. Tom, a Group Fit Instructor in PLS, has incorporated the training into his boot camp class. They are going to test as a group next week. GV has 80 members through, which is great, but what is even cooler is Andrea Moore the GM, Jason Kibby Program Marketing Director, Lena Jo Jr. Director, Valorie McCord the MAR, and Nate Garcia HK Supervisor all took the test. In ORG Wolfgang Rudolph and Sean Oelke, stud Personal Trainers, created a lot of energy by setting a high mark for others to shoot for.
Here is a challenge to all you management teams to get involved. Do it.
I just got this update from FRE, they have put through 98 members so far. One woman got teary eyed at the end because she didn't think she could do it, that is awesome. In the associate throw down Louise Williamson Membership Director is on the board, as well as LaDottye Williams, Carissa Walentiny and Cheri Bell. That looks like a challenge to the other Membership Directors and Membership Rep's out there. Props to Priscilla Leitner who took the administration of this program on while we were transitioning Wellness Directors in FRE, 98 participants is awesome, thank you Priscilla.
