This week is my 20 year anniversary with Leisure Sports. Many of our associates were not even born when I started, including my own kids. There have been so many changes it's mind boggling. Of the roughly 4800 days I have come to work here I would say at least 4700 of them were good days - they were good days because I work with great people, we have a great product and environment to work in, and I enjoy the industry. Thank you to everyone who has touched my work life in the last 20 years.

Keep a good thought for our boy Jarod Cogswell who is climbing Mt. Raineer today through Sunday. He describes this climb as his Ironman, so this is a monumental climb. Below is a picture of their day two camp, sort of "on approach" to the hard sections. This is an actual picture of their site, not some phony Google Images shot, I love the color contrasts in this picture. He promised more pictures when he gets back.
World Cup fever hit hard in Fremont the last few weeks. This picture is from the Germany/Spain semi-final game Wednesday. At the exact same time I was in Aliso Viejo and there were 4 people watching but one woman was on her phone doing Facebook so I guess she doesn't really count. John had signs made for outside the club to let the business park people know they were showing the games, which I thought was a great idea.
Below is a picture of Susan and Rosie, a 68 year old Oregon member that takes Marlin's Dynamic Fitness class regularly. She looks great right? Thank you to Susan for passing the picture along.
