The editorial staff at "Ralph's Blog" got a little behind on postings with all the great information coming my way. Here is some good news about Dave Grove, the LSI Director of Development. A couple Saturdays ago he competed in a body building competition at Chabot College. I mentioned in an earlier post that Dave started intensive training for this competition back in January - the guy worked super hard and was the picture of self discipline (please reference Stanford Marshmallow Study posted earlier).
Dave came in first in his weight class and finished third overall in the entire competition, a phenomenal result that even surpassed Dave's expectations. Although Dave and I are different athletes I enjoy talking nutrition and training with him, and I am happy for him that he did so well.
