I want to thank Brian Amador for sending over this story and the pictures.
On April 27th the management team at Renaissance ClubSport Walnut Creek went on a team building hike and photo tour of Mt. Diablo. The hike was lead by club member and renowned photographer, Steven Joseph who has spent over 25 years taking pictures of the mountain. His book will be coming out in October. The outing was coordinated by Walnut Creeks's ‘Commissioner of Fun’, Kevin Cabral.

During the outing, they recognized some of the key contributions from members of the WC team.

· They officially welcomed Jeramy Conner to the RCS team and recognized and expressed gratitude to Susan Volkamer for her tremendous support while we searched for our new Wellness Director.

· David Cook, Chris Hansen, Brian Hasegawa, Maria Garcia, Marnie and Gani were all recognized and congratulated for their effort resulting in a 94% Renaissance Audit score.

· …And most importantly Luis De La O was recognized as the Q1 Manager of the Quarter. During the first quarter, in response to uncertainty in the hotel, Luis managed a restructured Front Office team and truly “did more with less.” During this time, Luis and his young team handled higher-than-expected occupancy and raised Guest Satisfaction Scores at the same time. For his part in the recent Renaissance QA, the front office scored 100%. Congratulations and Thank you to Luis De La O. Above is Marnie Harvey presents Luis De La O with the Q1 MOQ award.
Steven Joseph lends some expert advice to rookie photographers, Jeramy Conner, Kevin Cabral, Gani Mabilangan, and Annie Wong. Kevin is the one in the goofy hat and the photographer is the one in the shorty shorts.
