A lot of you may not know Kay Speaks, but she has worked for Leisure Sports for probably like 12 years. She has helped me and the GM's tremendously setting up the Kronos and Analytics software which allows us to monitor payroll. She spends hours on the phone with their techs working through mind numbing details and then translating the information to us. Thank you Kay for all your efforts.
Did you know that Kay is a big time poet? She has been invited to poetry camps and poetry competitions. Although a poetry competition doesn't make much sense to me. It's kind of like competitive yoga. I guess even poets have the need to compete. Anyways, she is quite talented and her work has been displayed at shows and the county fair. I was on my bike this morning, riding in the pouring rain, and I was inspired to come up with my own poem. This one's for you Kay.
Got caught in the rain
Oh what a pain
It's still great to be out
There is no doubt
I'll be fresh as a flower
After a nice hot shower
